Amazon now has a Game Downloads store where you can download games to your PC and play instantly.
This new service allows you access to over 600 games priced at $9.99 or less. Players can also try games for a free 30 minute trial period.
Amazon is offering a special up to 50% off sale on select Blu-ray titles from now until August 29 while supplies last.
What's Blu-Ray anyway, you ask?
During the high definition optical disc format war, Blu-ray Disc competed with the HD DVD format. But, in February of this year, Toshiba — the main company supporting HD DVD — announced it would no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders,so almost all other HD DVD supporters also bailed out. And the format war was over. Blu-Ray disks can hold significantly more data than other DVD disks.

There weren't many Blu-Ray disks available, but the choices are increasing quickly - No Country for Old Men, The Bank Job and The Prestige, for example.
Amazon has pre-order bargains on Iron Man (Ultimate 2-Disc Edition), Band of Brothers and The Ultimate Matrix Collection.
